Never Forget

Now for something completely different:

April 20th, 1979 changed everything.

Moreso than even, say.... April 20th, 1889. [Did I just blow your mind?]

My GOD! You're right!

It was the end of the beginning, or the beginning of the end, or, what, five eighths(?} way along your diagram!

I'm so CONFUSED!

Was the rabbit Republican, was it unAmerican, was it both?

I guess we'll never know, we'll never know, we'll never know...

Five eighths, I was WAY off, WAY off, WAY off.....

Then there's the Cute Panda!

The rabbit was libertarian. And it is NEVER unAmerican to attack a dirty liberal. Remember that in the months to come, because it will be very important to understand why all those patriots and America-lovers are suddenly talking about fleeing the country and/or killing our new President.

Yea, Alan Greenspan is a libertarian too.

Reagan really fucked things up bigtime when he let that genie out of the bottle.

Sure Clinton didn't 'fix it', it still seemed to be working. Plus, does anyone, anyone at all really know how to 'fix it'.

I think that Obama will at least try and that McCain would just have gone on pretending that 'it' wasn't broken.

No. By economists' own admission. And yet they still get jobs somehow...

"I think that Obama will at least try and that McCain would just have gone on pretending that 'it' wasn't broken."

Same here. Since he already proved his knack for denial and panic on that issue, let alone the fact that denial and panic is pretty much a right-wing value at this point in time.
