America: We just don't let things slide.

Some people wanted to claim that throwing a shoe at the President was violent. Well, I guess that evil Iraqi journalist Zaidi got his just desserts then.

Edit:  Link fixed.  Forgot the "h" in "http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2008/dec/16/bush-shoe-zaidi".  Oh well...it was all part of the mystery!

Yea, it's as if some madman, that is perhaps seeking an asylum, is making an insane point by linking to 'nowhere'!

Argh! The madness!

Seeker - if ever there was a person (aside from myself of course) who might appreciate this it would have to be you. I haven't vetted the site but it came to me from a generally reliable IT source.

Pliny, while it was not your recommendation for me, I checked it out ;-)

Funnier than crap !

Seeker, I'm sorry I can't see this one...WTF ?? :-)

Mac - all of us in this little loop are sick puppies so it's kind of a generic recommendation

Checked out the game, and all I have to say is...

"If the Foo shits,...

wear it."

Hit him 11 times the first try! But damn, he is dodgy one! Like playing whack-a-mole, when every swing of the hammer activates a battle cry.

I will try to link to nowhere more often though, just to make pboy lose a few sanity points. Maybe even...a Rickroll?

Is that game not strangely therapeutic?

'Loved' the comments. "I'd take a bullet for Bush!"

Really?

Come to think of it, maybe I would too! He really shouldn't 'get off' as easily as being shot and killed.

He ought to SUFFER for another 70/80 years KNOWING that HE did NOTHING to stop the stock market crash, HE is responsible for the giant debt, he was an abyssmal failure as G.H.W. Bush's son, an abyssmal failure as a scholar, an abyssmal failure as a businessman, an abyssmal failure as a service-man, an abyssmal failure as a president, screwing up(or allowing to be screwed up) domestic policy AND foreign policy, BOTH abyssmal failures.

The man is an abyssmal failure as a Christian, a statesman and a human being!

Naaahhh. It would be therapeutic if the shoes were covered with fatal toxins, razor blades, or powerful hallucinogens however.
But anything short of that and I just fail to get sufficient jollies.

"The man is an abyssmal failure as a Christian, a statesman and a human being!"

And considering how low the bar is for being considered a success in either of those three categories...that's a pretty deep abyss, and a profound failure.

Bush's reaction to the incident was almost as amusing, I about half expected him to remove his shoes and throw them too. That smirk upon his face looked like he thought it was a game of dodge ball or something.
